LadyBug Festival

You are invited to our Ladybug Festival 2010

Everyone loves ladybugs! Kids love them because they are colorful and easy to catch. Gardeners and farmers love them because they eat aphids which destroy crops.

Come to our house for a fun Ladybug Playdate!! We will be reading a ladybug story, eating ladybug cupcakes, and making a ladybug craft! Please wear RED!!

Five Little Ladybugs

Five little ladybugs climbing up a door,
One flew away and then there were four.

Four little ladybugs sitting on a tree,
One flew away and then there were three.

Three little ladybugs landed on a shoe,
One flew away and then there were two.

Two little ladybugs looking for some fun,
One flew away and then there was one.

One little ladybug sitting in the sun,
She flew away and then there were none.

Please post what Ladybug theme'd snack you will be
bringing in your RSVP!

Great idea! My playgroup just posted something similar....

Our very 1st Ladybug Festival!!!!

I realize our Nov. calendar is booked full, and mostly at my house....I just get so excited during these holidays! Well, our calendar is usually pretty full but not every single day! *I would LOVE any moms to host in their homes as well, takes it off my shoulders and its a great way to meet more moms and kids.

We'll have 500 ladybugs to release in my backyard - bring your own bug catcher and nets! We'll have ladybug coloring pages, ladybug balloons for the kids to take home, ladybug crafts, ladybug themed potluck snacks, and of course a ladybug story!

So bring your most fun ladybug theme'd treat, send me any cool ladybug crafts you'd like to try out, arm your kids with bug catcher nets, containers, and magnifying glasses, and watch your kids squeal with delight as they chase these little buggers around my backyard!
